‘Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?’ - Halloween Fundraiser From Theatre Makers
Theatre Makers' third annual Halloween fundraiser, ‘Whatever happened to Baby Jane?” directed by Andrew Dark, will be performed at the Ince’s Hall on Wednesday 28th, Thursday 29th and Friday 30th of October.
A statement from the organisers continued: “This stage adaptation is based on the infamous film of the same name released in 1962 which starred Bette Davis and Joan Crawford as a duelling pair of ageing sisters: Baby Jane Hudson, a former vaudeville child star who lives with her wheelchair-bound sister Blanche, a bygone star of the silver screen in a decaying gothic Hollywood mansion filled with twisted memories and dark secrets.
“Their deadly sibling rivalry and obsessions, fuelled by the devastating effects of time, as madness takes the stage and rises to its shocking climax”
