Gibraltar Fair 2026 - Traffic Restrictions

Traffic and parking restrictions will be in place around Queensway, Admiral Rooke Road and nearby areas from 21st to 29th August for this year’s Fair.

A statement from GCS and the SDGG follows below:

In connection with this year’s Fair, the following traffic restrictions will be implemented: 

The following areas will be affected from Friday 21st August to Sunday 29th August 2026, unless  otherwise directed by the Royal Gibraltar Police. 

Traffic Notice  

1. Queensway northbound as its junction with Reclamation Road (Campion Park) and  southbound up to the southern entrance/exit to/from Edinburgh Estate. Access to residents  of Edinburgh Estate will remain as existing (via Queensway) up to the road closure. 

2. Northbound traffic will be re-routed via Reclamation Road towards Regal House for the  duration of the road closure. 

3. Southbound traffic will be re-routed via Europort Avenue for the duration of the road closure. 4. Admiral Rooke Road in its entirety from Bishop Caruana Road to Queensway  Parking Restrictions 

1. Coaling Island Pay & Display Car Park from 8am on Friday 14th August until 12pm on  Wednesday 2nd September 2026. 

2. Peter Isola Promenade Jetty (motorcycle bay at the northern end) from 8am on Friday 14th August until 12pm on Tuesday 1st September 2026. 

3. Admiral Rooke Road (Parcel Post Office pick up bays) as from Friday 21st to Saturday 29th August 2026 between the hours of 6pm to 2am daily.  

Appropriate traffic signs will be installed in advance to inform and guide the public.
