The Gibraltar Tourist Board has launched a new initiative bringing live entertainment to selected locations around Main Street on busy visitor days.
A statement from the Government follows below:
The Gibraltar Tourist Board, on behalf of the Ministry of Tourism, has launched a new on-street entertainment initiative aimed at further enhancing the experience of visitors exploring Gibraltar's town centre.
Live entertainment will take place at select locations along Main Street on busy visitor days, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for tourists while encouraging them to spend more time discovering the shops, cafés, restaurants and attractions in the heart of Gibraltar.

The first event took place earlier this week with local DJ Nathan Pereira (DJ Nate) providing music at the junction of Engineer Lane and Main Street, entertaining both visitors and locals throughout the morning.
Adding to the atmosphere was the Gibraltar Tourist Board's new "I Love Gib" roaming installation, which was positioned outside the Piazza. This proved to be a popular attraction with many visitors stopping to take photographs and share their experiences on social media, helping to further showcase Gibraltar as a welcoming and memorable destination.
This initiative forms part of the Gibraltar Tourist Board's wider visitor experience strategy, which seeks to encourage visitors to explore more of Gibraltar's town centre and support local businesses.

The programme will continue throughout the peak tourism season, with a variety of entertainment planned at different locations across Main Street and other areas of the city centre during periods of high visitor activity.
The Gibraltar Tourist Board remains committed to continually enhancing the visitor experience through innovative initiatives that celebrate Gibraltar's unique character, support local businesses and reinforce the destination's reputation as one of the Mediterranean's most welcoming and enjoyable places to visit.
