Oct 25 - Alameda Wildlife Conservation Park Halloween Event
On Sunday 29th of October from midday until 4pm, the Alameda Wildlife Conservation Park in the Botanic Gardens will be holding their annual Halloween event with a twist!
This year Halloween coincides with the World Lemur Festival.
In Malagasy the word ‘Lemur’ means ghost or ‘Spirit of the Dead’, perfectly fitting for Halloween weekend!
There will be some freaky animal displays, a chance to touch a scary snake or a dreaded dragon.
Come and see the ‘Sprits of the Dead’ devouring their Halloween treats, indulge in some creepy snacks and sample the famous Halloween Soup. There will be Freaky Face-painting, Wicked Workshops, Boon-cy Castle, Kreeper Talks and much more!
