17 October 2016
The GSD can confirm rumours on social media at the weekend that several opposition MPs and members of the executive had been invited to a lunch with the acting Spanish Foreign Minister Senor Margallo tomorrow.
All GSD MPs and executive members have declined the invitation as attending any such event “is unthinkable” while Sr Margallo maintains his “threats of blackmail” against the people of Gibraltar.
The event is hosted by the Grupo Joly, a Spanish newspaper group, and is to take place tomorrow at 1.30 pm at the Hotel Guardacorte Park.
YGTV understands the that GSLP-Liberals have also declined the invite.
