Following Unite's demonstration this afternoon, Unite Officials were able to meet the Minister of State for the Armed Forces, Mike Penning, in order to deliver by hand the union’s document detailing its position that had been received earlier by the Governor, Lt. Gen. Edward Davies.

Christian Duo, speaking to YGTV, said that Unite had managed to put forward its concerns about the proposed job cuts to Mr Penning and had received a positive response from the UK Minister.
