May 29 - Gibraltar To Host Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Regional Conference In 2017

At the beginning of this morning's monthly session of Parliament, the Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, made the following statement:
"Mr Speaker, I am delighted to be able to announce and to share with all members, the excellent news reaching me from colleagues at the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association conference, that Gibraltar has been able to secure the 47th regional conference of the British Isles and Mediterranean Region of the CPA. It will take place in the spring of 2017."
More details of the conference will be made available nearer the time.
