Dec 16 - Tell Us Your Story – Young Enterprise Project Seeks Interviews
A Young Enterprise group called 'Perspective' will hold a fundraising activity tomorrow Saturday. The team members are inviting the public to come to Piazza Grill to sit down and be interviewed.
The idea behind the project is to research, design and print a book capturing the many stories across the generations and different social classes in Gibraltar in an attempt to preserve the rich history that the older generation has to offer and to show the public that everyone has a story and a reason for being where they are.
A spokesperson for the group told YGTV: “By doing this we are trying to change the perspectives that the public may have towards other individuals, hence our name. We believe that everyone has a story to share and that people would find these stories interesting as they would be local and each story would have a unique take on life. We would interview a range of people, from street performers, people who have had trouble with addiction and the older generation that might have a life-changing event or to see their take on the social issues of their time. We would also include some stories on our Facebook page for those who are interested in the product.”
Pop in to the Piazza Grill tomorrow between 10am-4pm.
