This exhibition features the works of four artists.
A spokesperson said: "From the Rock to the City’ brings together two of Gibraltar’s Fine Arts Association members together with Phillipa Beale and Les Williams who represent the Lloyd’s Art Group. Over 24 works are on display and the exhibition is supporting the Combe Trust, with 15% of sales donated to the charity.
"Mr Linares joined Paul Cosquieri in a visit to the Bermondsey Art Space, where the artist is also exhibiting some of his pieces.
"The Minister also visited an exhibition by Royal Academician, Anne Desmet, at Long and Ryle, with a view of creating a partnership with the gallery for future collaborations and opportunities for Gibraltar’s fine artists. The UK trip will also explore the issue of art spaces in order to see how these can be adapted to Gibraltar.
Minister for Culture, Steven Linares said: “It is a great honour to see locals exhibiting in the UK. Gibraltar has loads to offer in talent and it’s important that we export our work and art outside the country. We will continue to work hard to ensure we export our art abroad.”
