Tyrone Buttigieg Beats Venezuelan Boxer

Gibraltarian boxer Tyrone Buttigieg won his eighth professional fight last night in the Casino Admiral in San Roque.
Tyrone fought against what he describes as a “tough” Venezuelan opponent, Dani Nuñez, with a 50/50 record. Tyrone secured his victory following a unanimous decision.
Speaking to YGTV, Tyrone said: “It was a competitive fight even though I won all the rounds. He was strong, tough and durable. It was a good night’s work which will serve me very well for experience and to help me keep on improving.”
The casino was packed, as usual, with local supporters.
“It was great support again from Gibraltar,” he says.
Tyrone, who is currently the WBC Latin Silver belt Champion, is now setting his sights on a title fight later in the year.
