Tyrone Buttigieg Lands Big Fight For WBO Latino Title

Gibraltarian boxer Tyrone “El Bombero” Buttigieg has landed a big fight for the WBO Latino title against Leyman Benavides. If Tyrone wins the fight he’ll join the top 15 boxers within the WBO classifications, one of the four major governing bodies internationally.
His opponent is a Nicaraguan champion, WBO Latino champion and WBA Gold Champion.
“I’m expecting a very tough fight,” says Tyrone, speaking to YGTV.
He continues: “There’s going to be a lot of back and forth but this is the type of fight I need moving forward to show what level I’m at and to keep on progressing to higher levels.”
The super bantamweight 10-round fight will take place at the Casino Admiral in San Roque on the 22nd of November. Tickets available via Tyrone on social media.
