Gibraltar’s U23 rugby side recorded an impressive 28–22 victory over Jamaica U23s in London on Sunday, following a determined performance from a squad missing several regular players through injury.
Despite fielding four uncapped players and facing challenging conditions during their final preparations, the team showed strong character, improved discipline and clinical finishing in key moments.
The match formed part of Gibraltar Rugby’s player development pathway, with senior coaching staff working alongside the squad throughout the weekend.
After trailing 12–7 at half‑time, Gibraltar regrouped and produced a dominant second‑half display, with tries from debutant Noah Jassies and Kalib Falconer helping secure the win.
This result marks Gibraltar U23s’ second consecutive victory over Jamaica U23s, underlining the growing depth and progress within Gibraltar’s national rugby pathway.
