Jul 24 - Ministers Licudi And Linares At The Commonwealth Games

The Minister for Education, Gilbert Licudi, and the Minister for Sport, Steven Linares, represented the Gibraltar Government at the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games held in Glasgow last night.
Earlier in the day, Mr Licudi visited the athletes' village where he met and had lunch with the Gibraltar team. Mr Licudi wished the whole team the best of luck from the people of Gibraltar.
For his part, Mr Linares attended the biennial Commonwealth Sport Ministers' Meeting. The meeting discussed topics such as benefits from major games to communities and integrity in sports.
