Mar 27 - Government Buildings to Plunge into Darkness for Earth Hour

earth hour Gibraltar will once again commemorate this year’s Earth Hour on Saturday 29th March. The hour brings together communities from around the world celebrating a commitment to the planet by switching off lights for an hour between 8:30 pm and 9:30pm.

In Gibraltar, the Government has arranged for the Rock’s North face floodlights and lights on the Moorish Castle to be switched off for the entire weekend.

Mar 13 - Childline Blue Week Quiz

blue week quiz This is your last chance to sign up for tomorrow's Childline Blue Week Quiz. The event will be hosted at the Royal Calpe at 7:30 pm and will mark the end of the Charity's flagship Blue week, during which they raise awareness on a number of causes. Interested individuals are asked to call  20043503 to book a team of 4 - 6 people. Tickets are £15 each with all funds raised going towards the charity. Ticket prices include a curry supper at the Royal Calpe.

Mar 06 - Childline Blue Day

childline Childline Gibraltar will hold its annual awareness-raising Blue Day on Friday 14 March. On Blue Day, Childline volunteers will visit local schools while staff at many local companies will show their support by dressing in blue for the day.

On Saturday 15th, the Gibraltar Rockettes Cheerleaders will support Childline by performing in Casemates Square between 12 noon and 1pm.  Winners of the recent Cheersport solo competition will also be performing.
