Mar 18 - Attempted Robbers Arrested and Charged

Two men, aged 18 were arrested and charged, by officers of the RGP’s Area response team, on Friday evening, following an attempted robbery that occurred at a shop in Fish Market Road at 7:30pm.
Thomas Michael Greeney and Carmelo Sosa De Orbe, both residents of La Linea, were jointly charged with one count of Attempted Robbery. Sr. Sosa De Orbe was also charged with Entering Gibraltar Overland, other than through an Immigration Control Point.
Both men appeared before the court this morning.
