A Guardia Civil scuba diving unit recovered 120 kilos of cannabis shortly after it had been tossed over board by a smuggler’s boat which was destined for La Linea.

The vessel, which is reported to have been a fast RHIB, was detected by the Spanish authorities as it made its way into the Bay and attempts were made to intercept it before it escaped into international waters.
