Mar 16 - Two Locals Charged Following Alleged Burglary At Montagu Tapas Bar

Two local men, namely 40 year- old Lee CRUZ-PARRY of Southampton Court, Harbour Views and 35 year- old Christian CHIPOLINA of Wave Crest House, Mid Harbours Estate were jointly charged yesterday with an alleged Burglary committed in the early hours of yesterday in the premises of the Montagu Tapas Bar in Chatham Counterguard.

Lee CRUZ-PARRY has also been charged with one count of Taking a Conveyance and a further charge of Going Equipped for Theft. At the time of his arrest he had attempted to evade officers during a Police chase whilst riding a suspected stolen motorcycle.

Both men have been detained in Police custody and will be appearing before the Magistrates’ Court this morning.
