‘Our Gibraltar’ Competition Results

The ‘Our Gibraltar’ annual exhibition opened yesterday evening at the Fine Arts Gallery. Timothy Cumming took the Ministry of Culture Award of £1500 for his photo ‘At Home En El Qwari’.

The event was organised by Gibraltar Cultural Services (GCS), on behalf of the Self Determination for Gibraltar Group (SDGG), and in association with the Fine Arts Association and the Gibraltar Photographic Society.

A panel of judges consisting of Jim Crone, Greer Jennison and Gino Sanguinetti judged the competition.

The prize winners this year are:

1st Prize - £750 Anna Latin - Tariq’s Mountain’’

2nd Prize - £250 Paul Lavagna - ‘Camp Bay (El Quarry) No2’

The Our Gibraltar Photography Award – Photographs and Digital Work

1st Prize - £750 Stephen Cumming - ‘Gibraltar: Against The Odds’

2nd Prize - £250 Timothy Cumming - ‘Our Rock Under A Sunset Cloud’
