The Gibraltar Youth Service is inviting local businesses and organisations to take part in Careers Fair 2026, which will showcase career opportunities available in Gibraltar.

A statement from the Government follows below:

The Gibraltar Youth Service, in partnership with No. 6 Convent Place, the Department of Education, the Department of Personnel and Development, the Department of Employment, the Gibraltar Health Authority (GHA), and the CIPD Gibraltar Branch, is inviting industry associations and organisations from across Gibraltar to participate in Careers Fair 2026.

The event will take place on Wednesday 18th November 2026 at the MUGA, Bayside Sports Complex, bringing together representatives from a wide range of industries to showcase the diverse career opportunities available within Gibraltar's economy.

The Careers Fair will be open to the general public from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, welcoming young people, parents, job seekers, career changers, and anyone interested in learning more about the opportunities available across Gibraltar's workforce.

This year's Careers Fair continues to be organised around industry sectors, allowing visitors to explore the wide range of careers available in Gibraltar. This approach encourages greater collaboration between employers and industry associations while giving visitors a clearer understanding of how different roles, qualifications, and opportunities connect within each sector.

To maximise industry representation, organisations that do not have a formal representative body may be invited to share exhibition areas with others operating within the same sector, including shared tables or rotational attendance periods where appropriate. Where a recognised industry association or representative body exists, organisations are encouraged to coordinate their participation through that association wherever possible.

Each sector will be supported by an Industry Liaison Lead who will work with participating organisations to coordinate displays, logistics, and visitor engagement opportunities.

Why Get Involved?

 • Inspire the next generation of talent

 • Raise awareness of career pathways within their industry

 • Promote apprenticeships, training routes, and employment opportunities

 • Engage directly with young people, parents, job seekers, career changers, and members of the public

 • Showcase the skills, innovation, and opportunities that exist within Gibraltar

Organisers are particularly keen to encourage interactive displays, demonstrations, and hands-on activities that help bring careers to life. In addition to exhibition spaces, the event may also feature career interviews and digital content through Careers.gi, Gibraltar's careers information platform.

Minister for Youth, the Hon. Christian Santos GMD MP, said: "Careers Fair 2026 provides an important opportunity to connect young people, job seekers, and members of the public with the industries that drive Gibraltar's economy. By bringing together employers, industry associations, professional bodies, training providers, and public services, we can help people better understand the wide range of opportunities available to them and support informed decisions about their future.

"I am particularly pleased to see the continued emphasis on industry collaboration. When organisations work together to showcase their sectors, visitors gain a clearer picture of the many career pathways available, and the skills needed to access them. I encourage all industries, associations, and employers to get involved and help inspire the workforce of tomorrow while highlighting the talent, innovation, and opportunities that exist within Gibraltar."
