Christmas 2026 Stamps Released
Gibraltar’s Christmas 2026 stamp collection features six watercolour illustrations of animals in winter settings, including the Barbary macaque on the 30p stamp.
A statement from the Gibraltar Philatelic Bureau follows below:
His Majesty’s Government of Gibraltar and the Gibraltar Philatelic Bureau are pleased to unveil a delightful set of Christmas stamps, marking a significant moment in the celebration of the holiday season. This unique stamp collection serves a dual purpose: not only does it uphold the essential postage values required for Gibraltar's postal operations during this festive time, but it also captures the spirit of Christmas through six beautifully illustrated stamps featuring animals in imagined settings.
The artistic vision behind this collection was brought to life by the talented Canadian illustrator Terra Nord together with Gibraltarian graphic artist, Mr. Stephen Perera. Miss Nord’s creativity shines through on these stamps which showcase beautiful watercolour illustrations of animals, some found on the Rock, wearing their best winter garb, in celebration of the upcoming Christmas season.
The collection comprises six stamps, with the 30p value, which would be used for local mail within Gibraltar, featuring our very own Barbary Macaque.
The Gibraltar Christmas 2026 collection is comprised of a set of six stamps, a miniature sheet and accompanying First Day Covers and Presentation Packs.
For philatelists and Yuletide devotees alike, the opportunity to purchase this collection is readily available on www.gibraltar-stamps.com and the Philatelic Shop at 104 Main Street, or at the Main Post Office counters, where the stamps can be purchased for Christmas mail.
