West View Park To Stay Open For National Day Fireworks

West View Park will remain open until 11pm on National Day, 10th September, giving residents and visitors another viewing spot for the fireworks and drone display. The display will begin from the Detached Mole at 10pm. No music will be played at West View Park.

A statement from the SDGG follows below:

The Self Determination for Gibraltar Group (SDGG), in collaboration with Gibraltar Cultural Services,  is pleased to confirm that West View Park will remain open to the public for the National Day  Fireworks and Drones Display on Thursday 10th September. 

To provide residents and visitors with an additional vantage point from which to enjoy the spectacle,  West View Park will remain accessible until 11pm on National Day. Please note that, unlike the Peter Isola Promenade, there will be no accompanying music at West View Park, allowing visitors  to take in the fireworks and drone display from a quieter setting. 

The display will be launched from the Detached Mole at 10pm providing excellent viewing  opportunities across the Bay of Gibraltar.
