Jan 20 – An Evening With Paul Isola And Friends Next Month

Big Man Entertainment is presenting a show like no other: ‘An Evening with Paul Isola & Friends’ on 27th February.

The voice of Breed 77 will be joined on stage by an all-star line-up of local artists. After many years fronting the internationally successful rock act, Paul has chosen the unique venue of St. Michael’s Cave to hold his first ever solo concert. Also on the bill for this once-in-a-lifetime show Paul has invited a veritable “who’s who” of Gibraltarian musicians.

They will be playing classic Breed 77 songs along with covers of artists that have influenced Paul in a stripped, acoustic fashion - there will also be a tribute or two to recently fallen heroes of rock.

The big day is drawing closer and preparations are in full swing for what promises to be a very special night for rock fans. The best of Gibraltar’s musicians have been getting together with Paul every week and magic is being created in the rehearsal studio as they prepare to unleash the tracks in the acoustic wonder that is St Michael’s Cave.

There are more acts to look forward to as the line-up continues to grow and organisers have now added the names of more renowned local artists who will join Paul on stage including award winning singer-songwriter Nigel Palmer, bass maestro Nick Hassan, Dead City Radio front-man James Culatto, Gib Floyd drummer Victor Calderon, Soul Mates guitarist Peter Martinez and percussionist Nathaniel Conroy of “Stomp” fame. They join an already illustrious list of local talent featuring members of Melon Diesel, Reach, Adrian Pisarello, Heritage, Gib Floyd and Shot Break.

As the excitement increases, so the interest grows from abroad. Many loyal Breed 77 fans are making their way over from UK and even America for this one-off show, as well as buses coming in from Spain. Those who haven’t got their tickets yet are advised to do so soon to avoid disappointment.

Updated information on the concert including transport can be found on the Facebook page  www.facebook.com/entertainmentbigman

Tickets are available from Music Corner @ £15
