Public Engagement on UK-EU Treaty Sees “Overwhelming Response”

The Government says it is pleased to announce that the newly established email for public queries regarding the UK-EU Treaty has received an exceptional level of engagement, with nearly 1,000 questions submitted to date.
Members of the public have sent in a wide range of questions, many of which are highly specific and detailed.
The Government says it is actively working to respond to every question in a timely and comprehensive manner.
Each question will receive a specific answer.
A statement ended: “In line with our commitment to transparency and public communication, and as previously announced, all questions from identified individuals will be compiled and published in the form of a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document. This document will address the key themes and concerns raised and will be made publicly available.
“All published material will be fully compliant with data protection regulations. No personal data will be disclosed.
