Jul 26 - Poetry Competition

The Ministry of Culture, in conjunction with the Gibraltar Chronicle and the Department of Education & Training, will hold a Poetry Competition as part of the 2013 autumn cultural programme.

The competition is open to Gibraltarians and residents of Gibraltar who may submit two original works.

The winning entry will receive the Ministry of Culture Prize of £300 and a trophy. There will also be three categories based on school years (or College equivalent) as follows:

a. Years 4 to 7

b. Years 8 to 11

c. Years 12 and 13

The winner of each category will receive a £50 voucher and a pen, both provided by the Gibraltar Chronicle, and a trophy donated by the Ministry of Culture. All winning entries will be printed in the Gibraltar Chronicle.
