The first half of day two at the XXI Commonwealth Games on The Gold Coast has been completed. The highlight up to now has come from the Optus Pool where Christina Linares set a new National Record in the 50m Freestyle, clocking 28:68. Aidan Carroll also made a PB in the 200m Freestyle.
There was then disappointment in the 4x100 Freestyle Relay where the foursome were disqualified despite being on National Record pace.
