Citizens Advice Bureau Hosts Technology Fun Day for Senior Citizens

The Citizens Advice Bureau says it is proud to reaffirm its lifelong commitment to empowering the older generation through its Technology Fun Day, taking place at 745 Europort, Gibraltar on Friday 24th April.
This special event is designed specifically for senior citizens and is free of charge. It offers a friendly and enjoyable environment where participants can gain confidence using technology. Attendees are encouraged to bring along their phones or tablets, or simply come with a willingness to learn more about computers.
Support will be available on a wide range of topics, from setting up email accounts and using word processing software to registering for e-government services and navigating online platforms. The aim is to equip senior citizens with the tools they need to access information and services, helping them stay connected and independent in an increasingly digital world.
These sessions also provide a safe and supportive space for participants to express any concerns or difficulties they may face when using technology. With hands-on guidance and encouragement, attendees are shown practical ways to overcome these challenges, building both skills and confidence.
For further information or to register, please contact the Citizens Advice Bureau on 200 40006. Alternatively, another session will be organised later in the year, and you can register your interest by calling or emailing [email protected].
The Technology Fun Days have consistently been well attended and highly successful, reflecting the community’s enthusiasm for learning and staying connected.
