Unite Members At Morrisons Accept Pay Offer Following Ballot

Members of Unite employed at Morrisons Gibraltar have overwhelmingly voted to accept the new pay offer, following a ballot of Union members.
With a turnout of 100% of Union members 78.5% voted in favour of the offer.
The offer in question represents an increase of 10p per hour retrospective from the 30th March 2026 and a further 20p per hour from the 1st June 2026.
The total offer accepted by members in percentage terms as follows:
Customer Assistant - 3.16%
Team Leader – 3.11%
Fruit & Veg Team Leader – 3.11%
Fishmonger – 3.00%
Baker – 2.93%
Butcher – 2.93%
Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant – 2.93%
Unite’s Christian Duo said: "This deal reflects the strength of our members’ collective voice with 100% of our members voting and ensures a fair & meaningful pay increase across key roles at Morrisons. While we recognise the ongoing pressures facing workers, we believe this agreement delivers a step forward on pay considering, that in October 2026 we will be entering in further pay negotiations with Morrisons.
