28 July 2013
This morning, the Sunday Express published a full page article about Gibraltar's current situation with excessive frontier queues to travel into Spain. The UK national paper titled the article "Spain's road rage attack".
The article also talks about the continued situation, explaining that Saturday was "the second day guards stopped every one of the 10,000 vehicles that leave the Rock each day, taking Spanish workers and tourists to the mainland."
Deputy Chief Minister Dr Joseph Garcia was quoted as saying “Spain has again shown that she cannot resolve issues through normal diplomatic channels. Instead she resorts to heavy-handed tactics at the frontier.”
