Jul 31 - Chief Fire Officer Visits The Fire Service College In UK

The Chief Fire Officer, Mr Guillermo Mauro will today visit the Fire Service College at Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire. The CFO will attend the Recruit Passing Out Parade and display.
Currently there are 4 recruits from the City Fire Brigade who are completing the 12 week Fire Fighter Development Programme being held at the college, before returning to Gibraltar where they will continue training and instruction locally.
CFO Mauro will also attend meetings with Capita Ltd, who have recently taken over the Fire Service Training Centre, to discuss the future direction of the college and the continuing training of fire service officers from Gibraltar at all levels.
