Dec 03 - Argus Charity Christmas Tree Event
Argus Insurance is encouraging the business community to help raise funds for charity by purchasing decorations for the Christmas tree which will be placed opposite Regal House in the corner below the American Memorial steps. Argus Insurance will provide the participating companies with branded Christmas decorations to be placed on the Christmas Tree.
Tarryn Gomez, Chairperson of the Argus Insurance Charity Committee said: “Our charity committee is always looking for innovative ways to raise funds for charities and Christmas is such a wonderful time for giving. We’re delighted by the amount of support we’ve received from the all the companies in the vicinity and would like to thank them for their support.”
The official lighting of the Argus Christmas tree will take place today at 6:00 p.m. The Governor’s Meadow First School choir will be on hand to sing some Christmas carols and there will be dancing from the Mediterranean Dance Group.
All funds raised will be donated to the following three charities:
- Wobbles Children’s Charity
- RICC (Research Into Childhood Cancer)
- GBC Open Day.
