SM Seruya have donated £5000 to Calpe House and £5000 to Cancer Relief Gibraltar.

SM Seruya is delighted to donate a total of £10,000 to two local charities: £5,000 to Calpe House and £5000 to Cancer Relief Gibraltar.

A cheque was presented to Albert Poggio, the Executive Chairman of Calpe House.

“We are extremely grateful to SM Seruya for their contribution for Calpe House to continue providing all Gibraltarians a home from home at the time of their greatest need.”

In the last few years SM Seruya has had a number of employees staying at Calpe house.

”They have all been delighted with the care and meticulous attention helping them with their medical appointments and transport in London.”

Cancer Relief Gibraltar provides care and respite for cancer patients in Gibraltar.

It pioneered palliative care and specialist cancer nursing in Gibraltar.

Upon receiving the cheque Marisa Desoiza, trustee of Cancer Relief Gibraltar said: “Thank you to SM Seruya for their generous donation for us to continue to offer clinics, counselling ,complementary therapies  and hair care and pampering from the Cancer Relief Centre at South Barrack Road."

SM Seruya stated: “We consider that the two charities complement each other in providing so many patients and their families the care and respite they require both in London and Gibraltar.”
