Nautilus World Ocean Day Award Ceremony

The Nautilus Project held the World Ocean Day Award ceremony at the Sunborn with over 350 attendees.
A statement from the Nautilus Project follows below:
We received over four hundred entries across all the categories and the judging panel were absolutely blown away by the amazing high standard of work produced beaming with creativity. So much so, that the judging process took over 5 hours! A testament not only to the immense volume of entries but also the high calibre of the work produced.
This is the highlight of the Nautilus calendar and the culmination of a full academic year of Marine Science outreach visiting our local schools. This year, Nautilus have already hosted over 45 school workshops with still a few booked in until the end of term.
Our thanks to the judging panel: Bianca Daniell Finsbury Trust Director, Nicholas Balban from The Gibraltar Sub-Aqua Association, the Nautilus Youth Leader Alexander Sanchez-Soiza, Nautilus youth monitor Eva Guillem, Ms Gianna Balban, Melanie and Lewis Stagnetto. We also appreciate all the sponsors help and support. This year, His Excellency The Governor, Mr Yury Hushchyn our venue sponsor, Ms Daniell and Minister John Cortes, presented the awards.
The Aurora Ballroom at the Sunborn sponsored by Pretty Sailing, had a full audience of over 350 people in attendance.
Our congratulations to the winners and a massive thank you to all the participants. This year has superseded once again.
