Traffic Restrictions Announced For Royal Engineers Association Remembrance Parade

The Royal Gibraltar Police has announced a series of road closures, diversions and parking restrictions ahead of the Royal Engineers Association Remembrance Parade on Saturday 13th June.

A statement from the RGP follows below:

The Royal Gibraltar Police will be implementing a number of parking restrictions, road  closures and diversions as part of the wider policing and security operation for this  year’s Royal Engineers Association Remembrance Parade, scheduled to take place  along Main Street on Saturday 13th June at 1300hrs.  

Parking Restrictions (0700hrs Saturday 13th June until termination of event at  approximately 1500hrs on the same date). 

∙ Crutchett’s Ramp. 

∙ Junction of Fish Market Road with Irish Town and Cooperage Lane  (ICC rear entrance).  

∙ John Mackintosh Square - by the City Hall and current Taxi Rank. 

∙ Irish Town - by the former Central Police Station and Cloister Ramp.  

Road Closures (1200-1500hrs Saturday 13th June) 

∙ Access to Irish Town and Cooperage Lane will be closed to vehicular traffic, from the area of the roundabout by Chatham Counterguard / Ocean Heights. 

Note: Vehicular access to Crutchett’s Ramp will be temporarily restricted during  the parade and will resume upon the parade’s conclusion. 

Taxi Services 

∙ The existing Taxi Rank located at the northern side of John Mackintosh Square  will be temporarily re-located to the southern side of John Mackintosh Square  by Matalan Ltd, only on Saturday 13th June 2026 between 0700–1500hrs.
