Following information received from the Guardia Civil yesterday afternoon regarding a high speed pursuit of a jet-ski travelling from the Moroccan coastline into the eastern side of British Gibraltar Territorial Waters (BGTW), the RGP Marine Section, assisted by a GDP vessel, deployed in support.

After transiting BGTW, the jet-ski eventually beached in the area of La Atunara, where its two occupants fled on foot. The vessel in question, together with its cargo of two bales of cannabis resin, were recovered by the Guardia Civil from the shoreline.
