Aug 05 - Guilty Plea After Customs Tobacco Operation

As a result of further ongoing operations by HM Customs focusing on illegal tobacco activity, a Spanish national, Francisco Jesus Guerrero Tomillero, was fined £3,500.
Guerrero Tomillero pleaded guilty at the Magistrates Court to possession, transportation and attempted exportation of 35,000 cigarettes. The cigarettes and a vehicle were forfeited by the court.
