34 year old Christian Bonfante appeared before the Magistrates’ Court Friday morning after being charged in connection with a violent altercation that took place at a residence in the area of Mid Harbours, during the early hours of Thursday 7th August 2025.  

A statement from the RGP follows below:

Response Team officers responded to a call for assistance and immediately arrested  BONFANTE at the residence where the incident had taken place, following which an  investigation was conducted jointly by Response Team officers and detectives from  the RGP’s Domestic Abuse Team. On Thursday evening, BONFANTE was charged  as follows:  

 One count of Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm,  

 One count of Making Threats to Kill  

 One count of Common Assault  

 Two counts of Destroying and Damaging Property.  

BONFANTE was detained overnight at New Mole House and was conveyed to the  Magistrates’ Court on Friday morning. He entered not guilty pleas to all charges and  the matter has been adjourned until Friday 15th August 2025.
