Man Charged With Domestic Abuse Offences

A 41 year old local man appeared before the Magistrates’ Court this morning and was charged with one count of Strangulation, Threats to Kill and Common Assault.
A statement from the RGP follows below:
41 year old local man Ian CULLODEN, of Both Worlds, appeared before the Magistrates’ Court this morning charged with one count of Strangulation, Threats to Kill and Common Assault.
The charges stem from an altercation that took place at a local residence on Monday 15th September 2025, which Response Team Officers attended to after receiving a call for assistance.
CULLODEN was arrested, interviewed, charged and detained in police custody, and appeared before the Magistrates’ Court this morning.
In court, he was granted bail and the matter adjourned until Wednesday 24th September.
