Man Found Guilty of Various Domestic Abuse Offences

34 year old Richard VALARINO, of Churchill House, has been today found guilty of Rape, Assault by Penetration, Controlling or Coercive Behaviour in an Intimate or Family Relationship, and Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm, following a trial at the Supreme Court.
The charges relate to incidents that dated back to 2023 and 2024, resulting in VALARINO being arrested on the 29th December 2024 and an extensive investigation undertaken by detectives from the RGP’s Safeguarding Team.
The matter has been adjourned for sentencing on the 25th February 2026, and VALARINO has been remanded in custody at HM Prison Windmill Hill.
An RGP statement continued: “We continue to encourage anyone who may be experiencing any form of domestic abuse, or anyone who is aware of someone who may be the victim of domestic abuse, to report the matter to us.
