Sep 02 - RGP Announce New Frontier Queue Arrangements
02 September 2013
The Royal Gibraltar Police will be making alternative arrangements to manage traffic in British Lines Road during periods of excessive frontier delays. As from today the motorcycle and bicycle lanes will move to the southern side of the loop closest to the Gibraltar International Airport terminal. The five motor car lanes will therefore now be immediately to the north of the motorcycle lane.
RGP investigations thus far suggest that there is no evidence of the level of disorder at the frontier that has been reported in certain quarters. However, the Royal Gibraltar Police considers it appropriate to mitigate any potential threat to the Queen's peace. This will be done in keeping with the best traditions of the British policing model.
