Apr 04 - RGP Seek Victims of NatWest ATM Tampering
04 April 2014
Following a report received yesterday concerning tampering with NatWest ATM machines at Linewall Road and Main Street an appeal is being made for anyone who may have had money ‘retained’ be the ATMs to contact the RGP.
Both ATMs at NatWest on Linewall Road and those along the Northern part of Main Street were involved in the issue. Both machines endured damage to the cash dispensers, resulting in money not being issued.
Two persons have been arrested over this by the RGP and remain in police custody.
The police are urging those who may have used these ATMs to obtain cash between 9 pm on Wednesday 2nd April and all day on the 3rd April and did not have their money issued, to contact RGP Police Headquarters on 200 72500.
