The Exhibition is being held at the Gustavo Bacarisas Gallery. It will be opened to the public as from Tuesday 22nd and will remain open until the 5th of October. Opening hours are weekdays from 10.00am to 6.00pm, and Saturdays from 11.00am to 1.00pm.

The Exhibition consists of 4 Sections:

A Digital Section, which is open to all members and will be displayed on a monitor.

A Monochrome Prints Section, which is open to all members

A Colour Prints Section, which is open to all members

A Beginners Prints Section

Also on display is an exhibition of photographs by users of St Bernadette’s Resource Centre, from their recent project “Gibraltar through their eyes”.

The Adjudicator this year is Tony Oliver ARPS CPAGB BPE5* (pictured below) of the Southern Counties Photographic Federation of UK.

TONY OLIVER BIO: Tony retired from a 31-year career in the Fire Service in 2004 and immediately immersed himself in photography as a serious hobby. He joined Salisbury Photography Club that same year and has been a constant member ever since. He has been Club Chairman and has held the post of Competition Secretary for many years.

He has been a photographic judge for over 15 years and still enjoys visiting local clubs for their internal competitions as much as he does judging regional Federation and National events.

As a past President of the Southern Counties Photographic Federation, he was very involved with club photography on a broad level and still remains extremely active as a member of the SCPF judging advisory team.

His photography is very eclectic, and he will try all subject genres with equal enthusiasm. It is fair to say that his main passion has always been with landscapes, but he is developing an increasing enjoyment with the unique and rewarding unpredictability of street photography. As well as his own work, he has always enjoyed helping others develop their own photographic style.

He has been successful in attaining photographic distinctions for his work, with over 350 acceptances in National and International exhibitions. He has also had work published and exhibited in various events, such as the British Life Photography Awards.
