Gibraltar Sound Festival Returns Live to the Piazza This Saturday

Gibraltar is set to come alive with the sound of live music this Saturday as the Gibraltar Sound Festival celebrates its fourth edition at The Piazza.

Organised by the Musicians Association of Gibraltar, the festival will bring together some of the Rock’s finest musical talent for a full day of live performances on Saturday, 26 September, from 4pm until 1am.

The Gibraltar Sound Festival has established itself as a major showcase for the local music scene, offering audiences an eclectic mix of genres and styles.

Headlining this year’s spectacular line-up are the highly acclaimed Femme Rock Revolution, who return on the big stage, following their sold-out show last March, held to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Music lovers can look forward to a jam-packed programme featuring an exciting and diverse roster of artists performing everything from rock, dance, folk and punk to progressive rock. The festival will showcase predominantly local talent, with the exception of Under Taiga, last year’s Bandslam winners, who will be travelling from Málaga to perform.

With free entry, the festival promises to be a fantastic opportunity for the public to enjoy the very best of Gibraltar’s live music scene right in the heart of town.

The Musicians Association of Gibraltar says it would like to express its sincere thanks to all the festival’s sponsors and to Gibraltar Cultural Services for their continued support. Without their backing, the festival would not be possible.

A bar will also be available throughout the event, with all proceeds going towards helping fund the festival and supporting its future. Festival organisers encourage everyone attending to show their support by making use of the bar.

With an impressive line-up, free admission and hours of live music, the Gibraltar Sound Festival is set to make The Piazza the place to be this Saturday.
