Aqualand Launches New BBQ Boat Experience

Aqualand’s new BBQ Boat Experience at Western Beach is now open for bookings ahead of National Day. The three-hour experience is available for groups of six or eight, with a BBQ, Bluetooth speakers, sun canopy and swim ladder.

A new experience has arrived in Gibraltar just in time for National Day, as Aqualand officially opens bookings for its new BBQ Boat Experience at Western Beach.

YGTV was invited to experience it first-hand ahead of the launch, getting an early look at what is a new concept for Gibraltar’s leisure and tourism offering.

Guests are collected from Dolphin Safari at Marina Bay and taken directly to the Aqualand experience at Western Beach. At the end of the session, guests are taken back to Marina Bay.

Once there, groups have their own private BBQ boat for three hours, with the chance to cook, eat, play music, swim and enjoy the water with friends or family.

The boats are available in six and eight-seater options and come equipped with a gas BBQ, Bluetooth speakers, a sun canopy, ambient lighting and a swim ladder.

Guests can book the experience with or without food, making it suitable for anything from a day out with friends to birthdays, celebrations and family get-togethers.

With National Day approaching, bookings are now open throughout the coming week and into Thursday 10 September, offering something different for those looking to celebrate on the water.

For Gibraltar, the launch brings a new type of experience to Western Beach and gives both locals and visitors another way to enjoy the coastline.

And this is only the first part of Aqualand to launch this year.
