Possible Overnight Power Interruption During GEA Works

The Gibraltar Electricity Authority is carrying out essential overnight works, with a possible but unlikely risk of a power interruption after 2am.

A statement from the Government follows below:

The Gibraltar Electricity Authority has advised that there is a possibility of a power interruption in the early hours of tonight. This is not expected before 2am. 

The possibility of an interruption is considered unlikely, but may arise as a result of essential and planned works currently being undertaken. 

These works are necessary in order to improve the resilience of our electricity network. The Gibraltar Electricity Authority apologises in advance for any inconvenience that may be caused.
