YGTV Is Looking For An Intern Reporter
YGTV is looking for an intern reporter to help cover local events and community stories across Gibraltar.
This opportunity is ideal for someone interested in journalism, media or content creation who wants to gain practical experience covering real events and reporting on local news.
The role involves attending events, taking photos on your phone, carrying out short interviews for quotes, filming vox pops and recording simple pieces to camera for our social media platforms.
We’re looking for someone who is:
Friendly, confident and comfortable talking to people.
Passionate about journalism, media or local events.
Experience in journalism or media is preferred.
Reliable, respectful and eager to learn.
Presentable and happy to represent YGTV at public events.
Ready to get involved and build their experience.
No fancy camera is needed – most of the content you’ll capture will be on your phone, so being quick, creative and confident is more important than having expensive equipment.
This opportunity is ideal for anyone looking to build their portfolio, gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in a real newsroom environment. While on a voluntary basis, it offers valuable experience and the potential for a future role with YGTV.
