Local dancer Faye Gomez will be participating at the Sussex Festival for Song and Dance from the 7^th to 9^th April.

Faye was the recipient of the Sussex Award at the 15th Gibraltar International Dance Festival in 2017. Faye is a member of Stylos Dance Studios as well as a member of the Gibraltar National Team. She will be competing in the ‘Dancer of the Year’ category at this international festival.

The Sussex Festival and the Gibraltar Festival were twinned in 2007. The aim was to offer a cultural exchange and educational platform for young people. The exchange has proved very successful with many local dancers having had the opportunity to compete in Sussex for many years, and, UK dancers reciprocating.

Faye Gomez will be accompanied by Stylos Director Lilian Montero. Both dance routines for this competition, have been choreographed by Lilian and Lauren Montero.
