Jun 19 - Casemates Flashmob Video Released

The Organisers of the IDO European Show Dance Championships have today launched a dance video as part of their marketing strategy to promote the European Championships at an international level.

The Flashmob was recorded earlier in the year at Casemates Square. Over 300 dancers from nine dance local dance clubs took to the streets to support the promotion of the 2015 European Championships. The recording on site was all compiled to create a professional footage that has been produced by Gibmedia. The aim of the promotional video is to encourage as many dancers and spectators to come to Gibraltar in October 2015 for the European Show Dance Championships.

GNDO President Seamus Byrne said:

‘We delighted with the promotional footage that has been produced by Gibmedia and we are confident that it will promote Gibraltar, it will support our tourism led event project and it will bring many European dancers and spectators to the Rock for this unique and prestigious international event.’

The organisers are promising to produce the biggest ever locally organised dance event. The IDO European Championships, which is fully supported by the Government, will be held at the Tercentenary Sports Hall from the 1^st to 4^th October 2015.Ticket information for the Championships will be released shortly and full details and schedules of the European competition are available on www.euroshowdance.com
