Oct 26 - GSD Questions GSLP-Libs Honesty On LNG Consultation
26 October 2015
The GSD has said that “honest and responsible Governments consult residents before and not after they sign contracts and commence work on dangerous projects.”
This is the message from the GSD in response to the announcement by the GSLP-Liberals last week that, if elected, they would consult residents on the LNG power station and installations.
GSD spokesman, Trevor Hammond, said: "This is another attempt by Mr Picardo to pull the wool over the eyes of people by appearing to be responsible after the event. Clearly nothing is going to change and the project is going ahead regardless. Can you trust someone who takes people's safety for granted in this way?"
