Nov 18 - Teachers Association Holds "Productive Meeting" With The GSD
The GTA/NASUWT held a meeting with the GSD where amongst other things proposals for the Rooke site were discussed.
Following the meeting held yesterday, a spokesman for the union said: "The GTA/NASUWT and the GSD agreed to a full consultation process were the GSD elected into government, of the possible educational and logistical impacts of the various options that were discussed.
"The GTA/NASUWT also welcomed the commitment to a social partnership given by the GSD if elected.
"The GTA/NASUWT believes that what is of most importance is for both parties contesting the forthcoming elections to engage in the education debate and to ensure that we can provide and produce the best educational blueprint for the future of Gibraltar, its teachers, LSAs and especially its children."
