June 12 - Bryan Zammit To Stand As Independent Candidate
12 June 2013
Today at 11:30, Bryan Zammit will be at Parliament to sign on as an Independent candidate for the upcoming by-election due to be held on the 4th July.
A spokesperson for his campaign said: “Bryan Zammit, a well known local businessman and entrepreneur, has been involved silently with politics for the last 20 years.”
On asking what the reasons were why he was standing, Bryan said, "For as long as I can remember, people of Gibraltar have been genuinely fed up with the division of our people due to party politics. This is the chance for the electorate to show their discontent on the system of politics that we have and to vote for an independent voice who will represent the people."
